I’m Charles Masha and this is Sesarena.

One of the great treasures bequeathed unto us by the Hellenes is the art of tragedy. Aristotle thought it the beating heart of civic life in Athens. He said that it gave people the chance to purge themselves of all their negative psychic energy and, by so doing, achieve catharsis. Having read a few scripts, I came to understand what he was talking about. I found the experience so inspiring, that I decided that I might try my hand at tragedy by reinterpreting the canon in short-story format and sharing my work with you.

So, join me as I ransack antiquity and steal from some of history’s greatest storytellers. Hopefully, centuries from now, someone will steal from me too.

P.S. I stole that from Picasso.
